Help Afghanistan Help ourselves

90% of the worlds heroin is produced in Afghanistan, through POM354 / P4P the farmers now have a choice and are prepared to swap Poppies for Pomegranates. Heroin addiction is destroying our own communities. WE NEED TO HELP AFGHANISTAN, WE NEED TO HELP OURSELVES.

PLEASE “ RUN CURSOR” over the picture below and PLEASE “DONATE A POMEGRANATE TREE TO AFGHANISTAN” By clicking on the Donate a Pomegranate Tree Logo below.

Thank you for supporting our work!!

On this page, you may select to support our work in Afghanistan in two ways:

By adopting a pomegranate tree over a period of five (5) years. This will ensure your tree reaching maturity and, from then on, providing the farmer with a steady income.
An added bonus will be that you will (by e-mail) be informed, at regular intervals, about the tree's progress as well as that of the farmer, his family, village, tribe, and any other information.
Your help will enable a participating farmer and his family to survive the time it takes for a pomegranate sapling to turn into a mature, fruit bearing tree. Given the circumstances in present day Afghanistan, this does not mean the farmers will just sit and wait for the tree to do the work. Much will have to be done in that period to ensure the viability of pomegranates, and associated products, as a long term, profitable cash crop.

Please, click the SUBSCRIBE button below to adopt a tree for a five year period at (GBP) £ 8.- per year.

By donating a sum of your choice.
As our primary target is to plant many new orchards, most of your donations will be used to plant trees and support the Afghan farmers during the time it takes for the trees to mature. Besides financial support this, of course, also means individual training, community building, improving infrastructure to sell and process the fruit once is marketable.
Your support will give the Afghan farmers and peace in their country a real chance of success!
