In 2007 James Brett ran into an opium field and convinced a solitary farmer to swap Poppies (opium) for Pomegranates. James quickly recognised that in Afghanistan the only way to really make a difference nationally was to UNITE THE TRIBES and implement a national strategy of agriculture reaching into all the villages and districts of rural Afghanistan. With the aim to grow 70 million Pomegranate trees James set out to do just that. Today James has addressed thousands of Tribal Elders and Farmers across Afghanistan and won the hearts of the Afghan people.
